There might be nothing so iconic in the state of Michigan that looks like a mitten than driving a car. After all, the place that made Motown is also the seat of the American car industry. So when you are looking for the perfect Coney Island hot dog or heading to a euchre tournament, you’ll be downright looked at sideways if you don’t have a license to drive. There are a number of steps you need to know in order to get it. There’s a test involved and getting more than a few wrong will put you out of the running. But don’t fret, we’ve put together everything you need to get your pistons pumping in the right direction. With DOS permit or DL practice tests for car, motorcycle, or commercial vehicle licensing, our coverage is full and total. Are you a visual learner? No problem. Moving maize around Ann Arbor or lugging lumber through Lansing requires a Michigan commercial driver’s license (CDL). The standard application fee is $25, with some variation depending on if you need an enhanced license ($45) or a chauffeur license ($35). Then for any endorsement including passenger and school busses, doubles/triples, tank vehicles, hazardous materials, or air brake restriction removal, you’ll pay a $5 testing fee. The tests are pretty extensive with a 70 question exam just for A class vehicles and 50 questions for B or C.
